New in America Level 2

The level 2 books are made similar to level 1. Students will still work on vocabulary and substitution dialogues, but they will also be prompted to use the language extemporaneously. The focus of this level is to work toward a paragraph level of language use. Students will be asked to talk about pictures, to retell stories and to apply the language they are learning while talking and writing about daily topics. There are opportuni- ties to listen to comprehensible language input.
