Neighbor to Neighbor is a brand-new curriculum written for volunteers who may have little or no experience teaching ESOL. It is designed to coordinate with the Mission to North America ESL training, so that volunteers who take the training feel confident and are competent to teach conversational English. Currently the Intro Level, Level 1 and Level 2 are available for sale. Levels 3 and 4 will be available in the summer of 2025.

Neighbor to Neighbor – Intro
Neighbor to Neighbor’s Intro Level Curriculum is written for students who know no English, or very little. The student book is secular, but in keeping with Biblical values. The teacher’s guide has a very short devotional for teachers, to encourage them as they prepare their lessons. There are 34 lessons, with vocabulary cards and teacher aids available on our MNA ESL website. Like all of the N2N curriculum, this level was written for volunteer teachers who have taken the MNA ESL training. As such, it follows the lesson plan format that is taught in the training. The table of contents and the scope and sequence for this level are available in the sample of the teacher’s guide.
In addition, we are planning to have a supplement to this level for students with literacy issues by the fall of 2025.
