Light of the World: Learning English through the Bible High Beginner (A2) series is a comprehensive ESL program which teaches speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. Each lesson introduces vocabulary, grammar, conversations, pronunciation practice, a song or game, Bible reading, communicative activities, and homework to engage students. A complete lesson provides about two hours of classwork plus 1-2 hours of homework. About the Publisher
Dr. Melina L. Gallo has more than 20 years of experience teaching ESL. She earned an Ed.D. in Adult Education and a Master’s in Linguistics (TESOL). She is the editor of the Light of the World: Learning English Through the Bible curriculum series and founder of Light of the World Learning, a nonprofit which provides curriculum and training to share the message of Jesus Christ through the gift of English language learning.
