Light of the World Learning

 Dr. Melina L. Gallo has more than 20 years of experience teaching ESL. She earned an Ed.D. in Adult Education and a Master’s in Linguistics (TESOL). She is the editor of the Light of the World: Learning English Through the Bible curriculum series and founder of Light of the World Learning, a nonprofit which provides curriculum and training to share the message of Jesus Christ through the gift of English language learning.

Light of the World: Learning English through the Bible is a comprehensive ESL program which teaches speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.  Our levels correspond to the internationally recognized CEFR standards  and use Bible stories which share the narrative arc of God’s story from Genesis to Revelation.  See our series Table of Contentsfor details.
