The New in America book series are based on the following learning principles: Relationships, Culture, Com- prehension, Communication and Proficiency. The books integrate learning English with life skills in a new culture. There are three levels with an A and B book for each level. Each book include QR-codes with video recordings and a teacher’s guide. Flashcards from each chapter can be ordered in pdf-format to be printed. Training in how to effectively use the curriculum can be provided upon request.

New in America Level 3
Level 3 book A is about working in America. Students learn vocabulary and grammar around important topics that will help them be successful in the American culture. Learners practice speaking and writing on a para- graph level and giving opinions. The stories are longer and listening to comprehensible input is still important. Book B will be published at the beginning of 2015 and will be about social interaction, finances and health.
About the Author
Tone Hess worked with Ethnos360 for 20 years church planting and training cross-cultural students in discipleship and in culture and language acquisition in three different countries. Since 2016 she has helped resettle immigrants and has taught ESL in Harrisburg, PA. She provides training and assistance to ESL programs.
